Peer Assessment

In this y8 arranging lesson, the groups engage in peer assessment.

Each group is numbered and the peer assessment is facilitated by odd groups observing even groups and vice versa. Young musicians are often very honest in their reflection and commentary. This informal assessment offers a chance to deepen appraisal and listening skills in addition to its primary assessment purpose.
