Language Acquisition

In this short extract from a music lesson the teacher explores singing with a traditional African song.

The importance of singing as a tool for language acquisition can be used at all key stages. Memory is also developed through singing in new languages. Singing can be the most inclusive form of music making as all children carry this instrument with them!
