Focused Listening

This classroom practitioner uses Saint Saen’s Carnival of the animals to scaffold a composition lesson.

The room layout creates a focused environment for listening. Closed questioning focuses the listening also and the white boards are another tool for ensuring students commit to a focused answer of their own.
